Who We Are

Connecting Communities Through Art in Salt Lake City

AACA brings together artists, teachers, and students from across Utah who share a connection to Asian cultural traditions. Our instructors aren't just teachers — they're practicing artists and lineage holders who trained in China, Japan, and across Asia before making Utah their home.

We teach in studios and university classrooms, show work in galleries, and host events that fill rooms with people who might never have held a calligraphy brush or watched a Baguazhang form performed live. That's what we're here for.

"Through culture, we find friendship."

Who Helps Make This Possible

Our classes, exhibitions, and community events are supported in part by the Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts & Parks program. Their funding has helped keep this work going for years, and much of what we offer would be harder to reach without it.
